I just got this new media center pc a week back and Ive already had to
format it because my tv tuner card was not working anymore. After i
formatted it i checked to make sure that my tv tuner card was now
working, and it was. So now I have to re-transfer all of my data back

I installed skype and it is connecting and TCPVIEW shows that port 4231 is
connected by skype to the internet

I've done an upgrade from win2000 std to win2003 R2, afterthat I'm unable to
use RDP connection to manage the server.. I had to register the remotepg.dll
manually as no tab was visible computer management, but afterthat I'm still
unable to use it..

When I disable windows firewall and click on the firewall button to open up
the detail it says:
Authentium Firewall is turned on...
When I enable Windows Firewall and check detail again it says at least 1

We have an app that calls the webserveer in our DMZ and uses the UNC
\\servername\share reference.   what port(s) will need to be open from the
lan server to the webhost in the dmz to get access
