I have been using SonicWall Firewall for clients that have 30 users or less
for their gateway / firewall solution and have been quite happy.  The only
problem I have is not the product but the licensing - per USER or DEVICE.
Is there a comparable product out there that does NOT ...

Is there a way to force an exception in the Windows firewall to remain
checked through the global policy? I have had several networked machines
'lose' a setting somehow and it's causing connectivity problems. The 'file

I can use my pc to access any web page, but can't access web service.
Can it due to firewall? Which setting can block web servcie but not web

firewall only works on programs and port numbers not  IP addresses like most
other firewalls.
This is particularly hard for 127.0.0.1  the local host address.   This
should never be blocked, no matter what program is trying to use it.

My firewall options are completely grayed out. They are stuck on off. I am
now using F-Protect, but it has no firewall. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I have 2 computers (WinXPHE) networked through a Belkin router.  Until

I have 2 computers. One shares its internet with the other perfectly. But I
