I leased a dedicated W2003 Web Ed. server a couple of years ago.
Recently, I discovered that Windows Firewall has been disabled since I got
the server.  I have always maintained the latest service packs on the server
and have not had any problems at all.

Our Vista Ultimate teset machines in the domain have started throwing
System Event Log errors about the Windows Firewall not starting.  We
cannot find any obvious reasons for this...Group Policy is pretty
basic in this area.

Vista FW with advanced security comes with an outbound traffic default
setting "allow everything which is not denied". I think this is completely
useless, because the main reason for outbound traffic filter is to block
UNKNOWN programs (worm, trojans ....) so it is impossible to ...

At my site, I have 2 VPN links to our head office using 2 routers (Router A
and High Speed Router B).
Router A is the router I would like XP clients to use for the internet. High
Speed Router B is for all other File + Print etc.
