I need help on two perhaps interrelated issues.
I have an operating network with four XP Pro SP3 based computers, two wired
and two wireless.  I added another wired laptop (XP Pro SP3) that I have

Is this statement accurate? "By default, Windows Firewall blocks all inbound
and outbound traffic on all ports. You must explicitely specify in Windows
Firewall which ports are open and which programs may send or receive packets

My XP home network with two computer and dlink router was working fine
before I connected Vonage phone service. I could print on the network
printer too. Now with Vonage connected I my computers and printer do not
show up at all on the network. I've reinstalled with the XP ...
