There is no File backup and restore utility program on
Windows ME.  As an inexperienced user, exactly what are
the procedures to perform these functions with Windows ME?
Or if anyone knows where I can get a backup-restore

My system is giving me a warning that the above file is
missing and is very necessary in starting up certain

I would like to upgrade from Win ME but have heard that
there is no direct upgrade path to Win 2000 - does anyone

Problem is: Windows ME gets an error while
online, "iexplorer.exe has caused an error in the
kernel32.dll"  I thought one way of resolving this was to
upgrade internet explorer to the latest version (

one of my children did something with the paint brush tool
bar and i cannot find it. i've done the view option thing,
but the bar is nowhere to be found. help, they're driving
me crazy to find it.

My Windows Millennium hangs up 10 times a day. Cannot
reset, nor Ctl-Alt-Del, can only power off.

In trying to update WinME from the Microsoft Windows
update site, I get the error message "Iexplore has caused
an error in MSHTML.DLL" and IExplorer shuts down.  I've
tried to sys restore to an earlier time, without success.  

My System Restore has not automatically created a Restore
Point since December 2002 and when I try to create my own
Restore Point I get the following message:
System Restore is not able to create a Restore Point.

With almost evey game i try to play now this happens. An
error pops up saying "The D3D8.DLL file is linked to
missing export DDRAW.DLL:DdEntry12" and another showing
the exe file's target and "A device attached to the system

For about 2 years, I have had no trouble using Word.

When I receive an attachmnet ending with .eml- get a
message that ends with "....is not a valid win32
application." When I forward the message to my Yahoo
mailbox, it opens. I scan for virus and there is no virus

I upgraded from Windows 95 some time ago. I had backed up
some files using the Backup software that came with
Windows 95. Now that I have Windows ME it appears that
Backup is no longer bundled with the windows software. I
