window keeps loading a new window and trying to connect
online, it has taken over my computer and doesn't want to

This message comes up when scandisk is run and system then
hangs.  I can not get past this to open programs.
I was told to use a boot disc and enter C: and then
scankey /restore but this results in a 'bad command'

I am having problems with my Windows ME... tried to remove
a thing called ClockSync and a thing called BargainBuddy
from my Add/Remove programs list. I was suspecting that

I have a problem and I am not a computer guru. When I go
to shut the computer off, through the normal procedure, I
don't get a shutdown. What I get is a blank screen with
the cursor in the upper left hand corner. The only way to

While going over the Koldbear Help and Support list, I was
apparently unable to run the 'helpctr -regserver'
command.  When I entered the command, nothing happened

Will both versions of XP (Full w/SP1 or a reinstall from
Dell)partition the Disk drive on startup? I have a copy of
partition magic,so I can partitian first,then transfer the
ME to another drive (with files) then load the XP to the

If I ever leave my PC long enough for the screensaver to
kick in ( approx 3 mins ), at some stage after this, and I
would assume that this is within 5 mins or so, my PC
crashes and I get the following error:

THis may be stupid question but please help, I have ME on
my computer and want to know if i can just buy the new XP

ok... i need help. if i try and install any version of
direct x above version 7, it doesnt install... it jus

I have tried to install Roxio ECDC 5.1 and Roxio EASY CD-
DVD version 6.  I receive error message "The MSIEXEC.EXE
file is linked to missing export MSI.DLL:222".
I did have Roxio 5.1 running at one time, but my system

Have problem with internet.   Explorer 5 will not upgrade
to 6.  Freezes up at 62%.  Won't download.
Also current Explorer will now not download certain sites.
Have used sites for months with no problem but now will

It's happened twice now.  I go to play a CD in my CD Rom
and the tray won't open.  My DVD tray opens just fine, but
the CD Rom is stuck shut.  I tried to ScanDisk but the
message says:  "There is no disk in it (duh), it is not
