I downloaded the suggested security updates from microsoft
update now i cannot open any attachments from my e-mail.
it says oe removed access to the following unsafe
attatchment in your mail Update-Aug03.pdf

Anybody please rescue me from this torture.  I have had
nearly 5 months of windows ME locking up, shutting down,
hanging. Are there any particular causes, my machine is of
high speck and should easily cope with program hanging.

XP.  I get to the point it gives me a choice of what drive
to load XP.  I chose C drive.  It says that there is
