Since updating Office 2000 with SP 3 I have been unable to
open wordpad and get a message that wordpad.exe is not a
valid win32 application.  Is there some relatively simple
way to clear this up or should I reinstall Windows ME

I am running ME on a Dell 8100. It freezes when booting. I
have checked all hardware (except mobo) on a Dell 4100 and
it all checks. I can boot from the 4100 but not from the
8100 (same Hard Drive). It will not boot in safe mode and
