I get an error when starting the internet that

can anyone assist with this? I opened a a word doc
recently that made an adjustment to the normal.dot global
template. Since then several of my apps fail with the

For the past week I have been trying to load software on
my HP which has Microsoft ME.  I have been getting the
error message "MSIEXEC.EXE file is linked to missing
export MSI.DLL:222."

I also have MailWasher installed, and did not have any problems at all until

When using Windows Explorer, and choosing the option of
View Thumbnails, jpg files no longer are displayed as
thumbnails. Only gif files are displayed as thumbnails.
This used to work and I am not sure what caused it to stop

I recently caught a virus and my system quarantined it. My
problem is this, when I start my pc it tells me that I'm
missing a vital .DLL file. How can I obtain this file? The
file is: PSAPI.DLL. I don't want to completely reload

When I start computer it loads past login, there is a
task bar flash at the bottom of the screen and then the
screen stays empty with stars background.  No desktop,no
icons, no right click mouse capability, but mouse active.

whenever i try to close a document in word, i get a
message:  winword has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL
followed by winword will now close.  sometimes the message
is followed by another:  Winword has caused an error in

i have tried to produce html source code by using ms
notepad for winme but there is no folder for entering the
code to create a webpage. this feature is available on
win98 and win95 but not on winme. Am i doing something

Norton found an Infected file C:\windows\system\svcpack.exe
Norton could not clean or quarantine it. Is this an MS
file or is the entire file itself bogus?  Can I delete it
safely or must I take other action?
