I had enjoyed playing the combat sim & using the
Sidewinder force feedback controller for nearly a year
when I found a virus on my computer that effected most
all .exe file applications on my computer.

       every time i try to remove a program an error
message pops up (error Setc011 in SETC011.TMP. )

laptop with Windows ME. The internal modem (28.8 Kb) is to
slow to do the automatic download form the support
homepage. Therefor I would like to download to my work-

I have the automatic update downloader running on the
computer all the time, it picked up the October 2003
service patch but when it tries to install said patch upon
reboot I get the error message ' cannot upgrade file 1%

I need to know what to do if Windows won't load.  ME
Edition.  It will start in safe moad, but won't go any
farther.

Hi, does anyone know why when I play NBA Live my computer
just hangs and just have a looping sound. I read somewhere
that the SB Live is not compatible with a VIA

Using McAfee I scanned my hard disk for viruses.  There is
one in  C:\\_Restore\Archive.  It is a Cab file.  I cannot
delete it or quarintine  using McAfee and when I try to
delete the file when I display it using My Computer it

I get an error message on booting that says I need to
reinstall my regedit.exe file.  
Problem may be related to v32.jeefo virsus I just had and
cleared up (hopefully).

I think a virsus corrputed the following files:
MSVCR70.dll
utils.dll
msi.dll

Has anyone seen, or know anything about an error message
that reads "runtime error 5 at 00404303" when turning on
the computer?

My system is constantly locking up.  I can't even toggle
control/alt/delete to end task. I can't manually turn off
the computer without unplugging it!  Any ideas what is
causing this and how to fix it?  ANY suggestions would be
