Everytime i try to start halo it says "A problem occured

i have an 'explorer (unknown) error thatjust sits on my
computer...i hit close and it comes up again no matter
what i am doing. i can just move it away and work, but it
does affect being able to get on the internet

I am having a problem where Windows ME does not even come
up on my computer anymore.  It has been working fine for
