I purchase a notebook with windows 95, can I update to
2000 or ME with out any problems?

I just reformatted my computer and when I installed Win

Yesterday I used the MS Windows Updates site and did the
scan and found that I had 2 critical updates that needed
to be installed. One had to do with Internet Explorer 6
and the other with Windows Media Player. I downloaded and

Windwos ME will not open. The error message is "Wait while
windows is updating hardware". There has been no new
hardward added. Windows ME will also not restore.

After restoring system with restore disk disk partition H
increased in sise from around 2 gigs to 11 how do I return
the 9 gigs to the c partition with out reformating .Its
