When Windows Update provides '20' device driver updates to
download foe a specific manufacturer's sound card, which
driver do I select from the list?

when i downloaded and installed direct x 9.0 on my
computeri recieved the following message after i restarted

this message appears continuously and i can't even get it

I have just recently downloaded the ScanDefrag program, and tried to run it
just now.  While it seemed to progress properly through the Disk CLean, then
the Scan Disk, when it tried to do the defrag, it would get to 7% and then a
dialog box appeared that said 'Drive Contents Changed ...

I just reloaded windows me and now in win explorer on the
left side where the files should be it all grey.  How do I
fix this?

this is the latest version of security update, the
"October 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which fixes
all known security vulnerabilities affecting

When I try to download this, I get into a continuos loop
where the update now message keeps on appearing.  Any
ideas????

Getting error when going to the microsoft update page.  
The error is 0x8007001f.  Why can't I just go and get the
latest updates for the ME suite from a web page with out
going to this page?

i know i should run xp but i only have p2 machine at moment
well i was after info on win-me updates there is about 30
meg of files to download and is it possible to get them
from a different computer then load them on mine?
