I had windows 98 before, and now i would like to run an ms
dos program: Family
I have the program on an A disk. I can install it into
Windows, but the whole program will not run. It says

my comp does not let me run a scan disk or disk defrag.

I  installed directx 9b and  restarted the pc then I got a error stating
"there's a fault in explorer.exe you must reinstall windows click ok to
continue",
then I click ok the pc turns off I restarted  the pc and got the same

Awhile back I turned my search option off. Now I want to
turn it back on but can't remember how. Help

I have a new flash drive and when I tried to use it on my
laptop I got a message telling me that I am
missing "USBNTMAP.SYS". It said I need to insert my
Millenium disk which I don't have. Where else can I get

Hopesome can explain or help. Why does my outlook express
remove unsafe attatchments from my incoming emails and
what does it mean?

All of the program icons on my desktop and in my startup
menu have lost their functions.  They are all displayed
now as "non specific" requiring an "open With" dialogue
when I click on them.  How do I get them back working as

error on start up;  RUNDLL  cannot find file;msconfd.  
what does this mean and or affect.  Help please   wade
