i am useing windows me,1.7g,128 radeon,512mb,amd
athlon2000+,when trying to install directx 9+ and
restarting pc it says could not upgrade file%1 from %2,i
have tryed booting pc with boot disk and going in to

When I sign in using msn 8, i get a message that msgmsr
has caused an error on DIBENG.DLL and that the program
will now close. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hi there , i have Win Me and i want to delete entire hard
disk and reinstall Win Me. what is the best way to do
this - anybody got a web site or a solution. I have
transfered all my data files to alternative hard drive

Twice now I have scanned our hard drive for viruses and it
has found viruses which it says cannot be "cleaned".  They are:
C:\HPinternet\surfboard\killwind.exe
C:\HP\bin\killwind.exe

I noticed that there are a few hundred zero-length files
in my WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. They have names of the
following form:

I get an error message that this .dll is missing and is
required.  what is it and how do i recover it if

Apparently while I was surfing the web,someone or
something deposited a program called Ad Destroyer.  It's
also deposited a shortcut on my tool bar that periodically
sends me annoying messages for popup elimination (irony).
