I keep getting a "explorer caused error in kernel32.dll"
when trying to log into a password controled site (E-Bay
and Yahoo mail).
I already replaced explorer.exe, still errors out.

Windows ME freezes upon startup of Word 2000 SR1. Never
happened before. no changes were made to software. All
other Office applications working properly. Any suggstions?

I run Windows ME. Today I uninstalled a "Home Design"
program as well as the Accelerator part of Earthlink Total
Access 2004. At least that's what I intended to do.
However, after doing that the Total Access icon has

I have windowsupdate installed in two places
and they run almost simultaneously
One is in C:\windows\wuauboot.exe
other one is in c:\windows\wuauclt.exe

Explorer Error: Kernel 32.DLL. Please restart your
computer. This comes up every time I open IE version 6. I
would appreciate any feedback.

If you're now (presumably) back to a fairly clean system,
then you need to make sure that you update your drivers
and ME itself.
*Done that... sound/video/motherboard/OS. Funny though

I am trying to reload Windows ME on a friends PC. He has
his certificate of authenticity with code key but the CD
is scratched so badly as no to be readable. The
installation process using my cd will not accept his code
