Mspaint error....will not start....caused error in MSC42.dll08 Dec 2003 12:23 GMT1
When I try to start Mspaint it gives the error "Mspaint
has caused an error in MFC42.DLL, Mspaint will now close"

This might get difficult!
 I'm trying to help a friend so this is second hand info,
 First off this is what i'm told he done.
The computer had windows 98 on it & he has a windows ME

I am running Win ME and am attempting to upgrade to XP,
however, I get a message saying "Windows XP setup does
not support upgrading from Windows ME to Windows Home

Hi, I deleted a file named bb.exe (application) but it
was in the Temp folder. I left it in the recycle bin, but

Everytime I try to update my Windows programs from
Microsoft, I get a failure and a suggestion to retry. The
last one said that all files were complete, but to "retry"

I tried to install a fix package from microsoft to fix usb
port problems and get this error The SP4Express_EN(1).EXE
file linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:strstr . If anyone
knows what this means and/or knows of a fix for it PLEASE
