My computer is freezing more and more.  Ctrl/Alt/Del
reveals Winserv not responding.  I end that task.  Then
Msgsrv32 is not responding.  End that task.  Sometimes I
can continue, sometimes I have to restart with the restart

I have installed all latest stuff re win update site,
including DirectX 9.0b.  Been trying to play the playable
demo from the Mail last week, the lord of the rings one.  
It says it cannot intall because 'unsuitable graphics

Help?  When I boot up my system, I always get that
message. Error Finding "C:\windows\System\Ctrlpan.dll
 I did discover that I had a virus called, "Troj-
Startpage.f"  Cleaned it off twice with Nortons and Trend

I did a system restore and thought I saved documents.  I
did not.  How do I find those documents, I know they are
still on the hard drive because system restore did not
delete other things.

When I turn on my computer I get these messages

only download I can find is ONLY for XP.  Isn't there one
