Today i tried to open the system file in the control panel
but was hit with a dialog box that read; "Windows cannot
access the specified driver, path,or file. You may not
have the appropriate permissionsto access item". Many of

I often get an MSIMN error and shutdown of Outlook Express.  No particular
reason or time.  It can happen at any time.

Hi there -- I just bought XP Professional and want to
upgrade my desktop from ME.  I backed up all my personal
files to CD and just assessed all of the applications that
I need to keep.

There are 65,000 files in this folder with extension .cpy,
total volume 460 MB. On a normal machine there would be

I am getting a message that states "my system is
dangerously low in resources".  I managed to clean the pc
of some viruses over the weekend, but I am still getting
that message.

I have a Micron Millenia with Windows ME installed. I
recently had a trojan virus that I quarantined and deleted
and since then when I turn my computer on I get this error
message on the blue DOS screen: 0E: 018F: BFF62170. What's

This is what comes up when starting computor, but will go
away if you restart it first in safe mode then restart and
it will not be there until you restart again.
Message reads:  An exeption OE has occurred at

Every time i shutdown i get the famous blue screen with
the message. VMM (01)+00009A71 ERROR :OD:0028:C000AA71
PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE .I then press any key and it
either shuts down or restarts.Can anybody please help.
