I am using: Movie Maker 1; Windows ME; and a Winnov AV PCI
capture card.
My problem: MM1 won't record. The preview screen is black.
It does start to record, and after I stop the recording,

When starting my computer it seems to boot up ok but, when
I get to the log in screen and it looks like safe mode.

Added security patches, and explorer update from this web
site.  Since that update, i am receiving messages of java
not found or corrupted.  When i attempt to reinstall
however, i then receive error message of 'cannot complete

I am burner dvd's that are 1xmax on a burner that is
4xmax.  I was told by the company that created the
software that you had to turn down the speed of the burner
through windows.  But he didn't no where for windos me.

When I do cntrl alt del and look at the programs running I
can see a Syshost program but have no idea what it is.  
Anyone have an idea and where I can find info on it ?
