thanks to much help I have my ME reinstalled to nealy as
before.
However, I cannot fully update IE with service pack 6

after updating IE to 6.0 when I try to open a file the
system freezes.If I go to safe mode they open fine.any
help will be appreciated    clc36@comcast.net

loaded xp onto my computor and it changed all my setting
(partions and am not in FAT anymore ) did not like it for
my computor, so I want to load ME back onto it and when I
load the recovery in I get to the A:\ prompt and am stuck

YES!!!  It certainly has.  This little monster pops up
and will seemingly not allow anything to load.  I get the
message and the start up bar at the bottom.  If I
click "Close" on the message the start up bar

I bought a Dell PC with ME installed.  After problems with
the PC the only way we could get it running was to install
Windows 98.  Now I want to go back to ME but the ME CD

I've been trying to create Mp3 files from a cassette
tape.  I took a line out from my hi fi's headphone socket
and into the PC's Line In.  I could hear the tape thru the
PC so the connection must be okay(?).  I used my

AM BEING TOLD THAT WINDOWS IS RUNNING IN MS-DOS

Somehow our windows installer has been deleted, now we are
unable to install Office 2000 or any other disk.  Please
help.

Just recently Norton AV CE 7.5 and ZoneAlarm stopped
working correctly.

I keep getting a message saying "Explorer has caused an
error in MSIESH.dll  Explorer will now close..."

I had a few hardware problems with my AMD 1.8 lately, and as a result had a
