My computer started hanging up after loading desktop items
but only halfway through loading the startup items in the
lower right tray.  It hangs between the volume control
icon being loaded and the Adaptec Direct CD wizard icon.

I just ran an HP uninstall utility for an HP all in one.  
After I ran the utility I cannot access windows.  I
