I cannot complete a Scan Disk because Scan Disk continually
restarts. Then I receive a message stating, "Scan Disk has
restarted ten times because Windows or some other programme
is writing to this drive."

Please help. I ran a system restore and when the computer
restarted it did something to my NAV program. I attempted
to uninstall/reinstall without success. Now I get these 2

Ok here's the deal.  Recently I installed all of the
updates for Windows Millenium Edition because Gateway
decided to disable the auto-reminder and I just now

When I start Windows Mellennium and use normal mode I
come to a message that sais 'Windows cannot prosses the
registry.  This may be fixed by rebooting to the command

What is Acutil.exe???   When I run msconfig, I uncheck the
box, then the computer restarts.  When it restarts, the
box is checked again.  
I tried regedit, ctrl+f of acutil, deleted them from
