I forgot my windows password and want to allow my computer
to be put on standby.  If I put my computer on standby,
can someone else turn my computer off and then log in or
will it continue to ask for a password?

All, ScanDisk runs after every boot, even when I shut down
normally,
which is most of the time.  I have tried shutting down
various ways

Im currently using WIN ME as my os.. and im thinking of
