On start up computer hangs on "completing updating files,
continuing to load Windows" or goes to safe mode.
From safe mode I do a restore and it loads but same
problem happens again on next start-up.  Over a week, I
windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %231 Oct 2004 06:29 GMT9
I having a bit of trouble with updates. Its happened a couple of times
today.  The first time the message appeared only twice and then windows
continued to load.
Just now, it went on for pages and pages on this message and I was just

The problem, very simply stated, is that the copy and paste functions DO NOT
WORK.  The drag and drop DOESN'T WORK either.  Other functions seem to work

I have Movie Maker 1 with my ME Windows. I can save a
project from that to Media Player 1 OK, but when I try to
burn the video from either program to CD I get the message:

and i also add some styles in it. when i recorded it on cd-r it record as wmv

I installed Norton 2005 on a VPC ME - and kept getting CFGWIZ errors on
booting.
Clearing all MSCONFIG entries for Norton allowed a clear boot, but running

I am getting an error on startup "stmgr has caused an error in Wintrust.dll
and will now close".  I close the box and startup continues normally (it
continues startup in background anyway).  Does anyone know how to correct
this error?  I did a search on the MS knowledge base and ...
