It is my understanding the WindowsMe OS will no longer be supported in terms
of Windows Updates as June 2006. I take this to mean that accessing the WU
site and having one's system scanned will no longer be available. Am I
correct?

Compressed Files and Folders
I use Windows Me.  Some time ago I was able to compress my files by choosing
the following key strokes:  Select (highlight) file or folder, then click
File, then click Send To and choose Compressed Folder.  Or, I could click

So I'm using a slightly old Vaio with Windows ME and having difficulties
showing DVD's on a secondary montior, namely, a flat screen. I can see it
perfectly on my laptop screen, but I only get empty space where the movie
should be on the flat screen.

I have Office 97 running on a windows me machine. Been using the Excel for
months on this machine with no problems.
Suddenly started receiving "excel has caused an error in excel.exe. if you
continue to have problems please restart your computer" error out of nowhere.

For some reason, this comes up as my home page:

i change it to yahoo.co.uk and click apply, but when i open up another internet explorer it resets to this again and again.
