The icons on my desktop I'm assuming are corrupted. The
image is distorted, i barely see color, its mostly white
with my background image showing thru. If anyone could
help me with this situation I would greatly appreciate it.

I reformatted my computer yesterday and reinstalled Win
ME.  Towards the end of the setup it asked for a user name
and password which I entered.  I then proceded to reload
all my software.  

I have a problem, I can connect to the internet with no
problem, after a while my modem said that i'm connected
put i can't serf the net and have to reconnect the dialup
