ME Error on Startup 0E:0028:C000EA5625 Aug 2003 09:26 GMT1
Please help.
I run Windows ME on a Compaq Presario 5WV230 and only
sometimes, on startup, get the dreaded blue screen with an
error message as follows:
CDRW error (Presario 5000 - Windows ME)25 Aug 2003 09:20 GMT1
After successfully (finally) downloading and installing
the service packs and security updates my CDRW drive
stopped working. When inserting any CD an error message
appears "WINDOWS" Error 0D : 0028 : 00000003 and the

I have been told by Mcafee I need to start up in dos mode
to correct a problem, but in the instructions it says to
choose safe mode Command prompt only on the windows start

administrator to do this.  I am the only user on the
