How can I scan a document and then edit the text on it? What do I save it
to - as? What do I open it with? I have got Microsoft Office and Photoshop
7, I got it done in photoshop but I was wondering if there was another
possibly easier way.

when i boot my machine i get error messages refering to
c:\windows\iedll.exe and msgrsv32.  When i click ok the
messages go and the machine works OK.

There is a hidden directory in windows-me called '_restore' it's about 400MB
and contains lots of stuff which don't appear to have any use for the
operation of my computer.  does any one know what is stored in this

I was trying to install some software when a message
concerning "regedit" occurred. And the installation
proccess failed coz it can't find the file "regedit". I
may seem to have "lost" it. Where should I look for it? I

It seems I can run Ad Aware one time just fine.  The next time I get an
error message and have to uninstall and download again.  What gives?  Of
course I just tried to run it so I could share with all of you the error
message but now it runs fine.

As the subject says.. the left pane in windows explorer is
gray with an X to close it. I can go to view and explorer
bars and change to favorites, search, history... they all
work...

I used my boot disk to load a new hard drive. Made a
mistake and left the disk in when I was prompt for a start
up disk and pressed continue. The disk will not work now.
What do I do now to get a new Boot Disk? Please submit

all of a sudden I keep geting this error message when I
boot up (error in c:\windows\system\nvcpi.dll missing
entry nvstartup) when I click ok the pc seems to run  ok,

updates. It will find a bunch of updates but when I hit the "Download
updates" the button stays pushed in and CAD says the program's not
responding.
