Is there a way to make Adobe Acrobat reader 6 shut down properly in Windows ME with IE6? After viewing a .pdf document in IE and closing the window I can't subsequently read another .pdf document.

Help - I feel so stupid. I can not get my explorer tree back, what do I need to do ? For some reason the only thing that displays is a page on the right that gives folder info, and on the left onlt a blank bar with an "X"

I am trying to download recent updates to Windows ME. It appears to go through the downloading process then I receive the message "No updates were downloaded" and on the download history the term "failed" is displayed by

When I try and capture images from a digital camcorder from the USB this windows error message pops up in the ImageMixer software and then shuts down. Sony was no help on this. What can I do?

I had a protection fault and shut down while playing a game. I ran Dr. Watson and it said ATMSYS.DRV has altered Windows system. I see there are some other ATM files in the windows system. What are they? What do I do about this

When I go to C -> Windows.000 -> Temporary Internet Files -> Content.IE5 I come up with 32 folders and one DAT file named index.dat. The DAT file is constantly updating, and at the moment is over 15,000KB. The folders contain a few thousand files each, some 0KB, some go up to ...

My sister is disabled and has windowsme with the onscreen keyboard. Is there a way to do a shutdown (control/alt/delete) using the onscreen keyboard? She cannot use 2 hands. Any suggestions?
