well i went to my desktop today and suddenly my recycle
bin was gone i can delete things and they go to the
recycle bin but its no where to be found on the desktop  a
little help please

Graphics images will not display when "thumbnails view" is

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but the this problem has just
started on my friend's computer.
She has a Dell computer with Windows ME and is running AOL dial-up service.
She hasn't upgraded or installed anything new, but suddenly she cannot print

I am running Windows XP Home. I have installed all of the patches available.
I downloaded and installed the most recent software for my daughter's  new
Kodak CX4200 (the version that came in the box wasn't recommended for XP)
The software seemed to install OK...

I keep getting error# 2147143679. Please help!!!!!

When I go to "Restore", the restore page opens, but goes
no further.

I woman I work with said her kids were fooling around on

For some reasons all my icons are blacked out - appear as

I had to replace my hard drive and reload ME from the Dell
backup disk. When I did, most of the screensavers were
lost (e.g. Underwater). I copied the Underwater screen
saver and Underwater dll from the system folder of another

Scan disk hangs up and won't complete a full scan.  I have
tried shutting down DSL,Norton and it still hangs up.

Clean Win ME install requires 15GB space
I followed direction for a clean install.
When I try to run setup on drive E: (my CD-ROM) I end up
with:

I am getting two error messages on start up... the first
is: Stmgr has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL and after I
click to close the error box, the second comes up:  Stmgr
has caused an error in WINTRUST.DLL.  Any clues?  Thanks.
