Sorry, I know you chaps see dozens of these bleedin' "windows me won't
start" messages, but I do have an interesting twist on the normal

Is it beneficial for me to upgrade to WIndows ME - are
there are lot of programs/devices that aren't compatible
with ME?

Why does it feel like I'm doing something wrong when I click, "show my
desktop" to instantaneously minimize all my windows?  It seems like the
minimization (not sure if thats a real word) happens so quickly that it
can't be good for the computer.  Am I crazy?
