If you web-mail me and it gets rejected, it is will likely be due to that.

I just received an email from "Technical Assistance"
<tsgsbyiznvc-qviwdrnz@news.com> promising a Windows update
if I downloaded the attached file.  It sounded suspicious
to me, so I haven't opened it.  Is this potentially a

I received an e-mail which I thought to be from Microsoft.
My computer is all messed up. I am receiving the following

So far I 've of two ways to rid myself of this virus:
1) Reinstall ME.
2) Have an expert remove the virus.

I've been getting  several e-mails, supposedly from
Microsoft. They even have the logos and look official.
They claim to have an attached patch for various security

ME was crashing more than usual so I ran Setup from Options\CABS since I
didn't want to do a full restore with a reformat.  I think ME is more stable
now but what's strange is Help & Support no longer has any reference to
Hewlett-Packard.
