In windows ME, the folder pane no longer works.  When you
call up windows explorer, the files and folders will
display in the right pane but the left pane is blank.  The
search and history panes work fine.  But when switching

The computer screen has lines across the screen from one
side to the other wherever there is any kind of text or
graphics (icons) -- offline and online.  The icons
appearing on the desktop have also become very faded.  I

I missed my chance to NOT have the "client for Microsoft
networking" sign-in pop-up to not show up at every boot.

I posted two days ago with no response, so will try again with more info..
Customer computer will boot up to the wallpaper and nothing else
so I hit CTRL/ALT/DEL and in the Close Program window there

Can anyone help me with this totally irritating problem.  
Every time I boot up Windows ME, it hangs.   When I hit

A friend of mine installed IE6, since then, there is no
view in the left hand side of windows explorer.   The

Can I install XP Home edition or XP Pro onto a bare hard-
