When I start up ME, after the desktop appears I get a message box that says "error loading NvQTwk." "The system cannot find the file specified." I click Ok and it goes away. There is also a Box in the tray that says RUNDLL.

Using the 'Log-on' feature doesnt really keep someone off of my computer if they can cancel log-on and bypass the log-on screen. And the User's feature in the control panel only keeps me from logging onto my LAN.

Can any tell me the procedure for transferring files from a desk-top computer to a laptop using a USB cable? The desk top is 1year old with Windows ME and the Laptop is new with Windows XP.

There is no link for Windows ME on the "Windows Updates" page. How do I update my machine without using the automatic update feature (which I can't get to work properly for some reason)?
