I cannot unistall my version of windows millenium (I want
to install windows 98). I have followed every piece of
windows support I can find but nothing works. I have even
tried formating my hard drive but cannot start in msdos

The Norton Rescue disk cannot use its own Virus Definitions, because
it claims it can't find them even though they're visibly there.  So
there appears to be no point in periodically updating the Rescue disk
to maintain current Virus Definitions on it.

mscoree.dll file is not found in computer. where can I
download the file from?

I recently ran a bug fix and it was unable to delete two
infected files and told me to delete them manually.  When
I attempted to delete the files I got the above message.  
Any way to get around this?  Any help would be appreciated.

I am having trouble getting mmedia player to work. Ikeep getting internal
application error. Can anyone help and advise what the error is and how to
resolve it? I have tried downloading the application and reinstalling but
without success.

My vendor helpdesk says I need to reinstall Windows to correct a problem.
(My second bad experience with system restore - Never again!) They suggest I
perform a backup before proceeding. I have been looking everywhere but can't
seem to find how to perform a backup.The help files say ...
