I am running Windows ME. My computer was fine until a
neighbor's children were using it. I don't know what
they did but now I cannot get the start button or any
icons. My wallpaper comes up and that's it. Nothing

In the last month or so, I saw a Screen Saver episode, on Tech TV, were a
caller was asking Leo about partitions on his drive. Leo said that many
people make a separate partition (C: drive) just for their operating system.
My question is, how much space do I have to allocate for ...

Sometimes when I'm booting up or at times when I'm already
running. I get an error saying fatal exception

when i boot up i only get as far as verifying dmi pool
data and it locks up ,with the curser blinking in the
lower lefthand corner.I have ran the recovery disk a half
a dozen times and added all my software & hardware. But
