Can't access any icons on Control Panel...31 Jan 2004 22:42 GMT5
When I double click on any of teh icons on my control
panel, I get a message that says: 'Windows cannot access
the specified device, path, or file.  You may not have the
appropiate permissions to access the item'.  I also get

  I just downloaded Divx from Divx's website & I tried to
play a movie I downloaded from Kazaa & the time on the
Divx player ran but no picture came up.  I also tried to

i've upgraded to norton 2004, upgraded my virus
defintitionas, scan the entire system...several times...no
viruses found....so what is dw.exe that gives me an error

I got the following from a friend in England and for some strange reason
the 'printer problems' are ringing a vague bell.

Recently, when I click 'Send' in Forte Agent, Agent locks up. I use
Ctrl, Alt Delete, close the program and reopen and it's okay until I
'send' again.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled Agent (and cleaned the
registry) twice but it is still locking up on 'Send'.  Could there be

I can't seem to get ME to shut down w/o holding down the
switch button on the CPU until the green light goes off.
Then when I boot up again, of course it has to go thru the
defrag each time. This doesn't seem to be too healthy for
