I am running Windows ME on a Dell 8100.
The Windows search function does not work.
Entering any argument, such as file or folder name, and
clicking the seach button produces nothing.  No search

I setup my friends PC with a password to keep a kid out, and it
didn't do the job.  How'd he do that?  The password was setup
during the fresh installation of ME, and I'd like to know how he
bypassed it.  I've gotta come up with something more secure.

I've heard about using OE for viewing newsgroups.  I
assume it makes it easier to track onmly the threads
you're invovled in, right?

Am unable to complete a Windows update. Have tried
numerous times but installation keeps failing. Any ideas?

The Microsoft web page is the only site that I can switch
to different links and pages without being closed with an
explorer error message of some kind. I am getting all
sorts of errors. Explorer has caused error, invalid page
