I read the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 316512 but I
got the error message when I tried to run Norton System
Works. I don't have a problem connecting to the Internet.  
The article says the problem can occur when AOL software

I uploaded the latest security upgrades and now have no
restore checkpoints.  I was trying to upgrade to XP and my
system just dies of old age during the upgrade.
