Is there any way to delete useless and non-exiting programs from the

I have a problem with low resourses. I am running 512 megs
now and my motherboard will support 1.5 gig of ram . If I

get the option to Open or Save.  Now they just open
automatically, in "image preview."  I want to save them to

My computer developed this annoying habit of bringing up the "connect to"
dialog box all the time. On boot up, I have to click cancel three times to
get to the desk top. Today it started every time I right click anything. I
ran Spybot and checked my Startup Menu but didn't find ...

Today, while running a Windows version of a software I
have in DOS, too, I tried to open the DOS version and it
asked me which one do I want to use because they
conflict.  I chose DOS.

When I try to use my DVD burner program DVD X copy I get
the following error. I never got this message before until
I reformatted my computer.  
Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.

I named my "c:\" partition of hdd "Windows".
When i copy something to "c:\", rename "Windows"
to "WINDOWS".

how do I block pop-ups on Windows ME?

hi i have run my virus checker and it came up with5 virus
restore\temp\a0295844.cpy and same but ending in
45/49/52/73/700 it will not remove  the virus. i can even
remove it maually because i cant find the temp file. maybe

My version of ME is not working properly and I need to
reinstall the program. However, I am using an upgrade
version which means that I have to load everything over. I
have WIN95 and it is old. I've lost the key for the disk.

I just installed a critical update package with Windows
Update yesterday, and now whenever I restart, there is a
message "stmgr has caused an error in wintrust.dll stmgr
will now close".

I keep getting these messages in e-mail that the message I sent couldn't be
delivered, that I haven't even sent. Is any one else getting return mail
message that they didn't sent?

Help! I am having the same problems, and i remember before
my computer collapsed on me before (2 years ago) this same
message came up.  Can anyone help?  Also i am getting
frozen screen and memory messages... resources low etc.,
