Each time I use my computer it gives me various error
message within 10 minutes and I have to shut down to
continue. Most error messsage are .dll.  Can anyone out
there help me?

I'm getting an error message dealing with GDI.EXE
espically when using Internet explorer.  The Error message
goes something like "iexplorer has caused an error in
GDI.EXE and will exit the application."  It also sometimes

After installing Norton 2004 everytime I reboot the
computer freezes and I receive a windows error message
0E : 018F : BFF7B018 (or BFF77328). I either have to
disable Norton 2004 or repeatedly reboot in safemode,

I got this message that says:winserv has caused an eror in
urlmon.dll.  I checked and found only one file with this
name.  I've been told that this can cause a lot of pop up

I get an error message about cannot find vxdmgr32.exe -
anyone know what this is and if I should be alarmed.  My

I am running ME on a PII 266 with 196Mg of RAM and I
regularly have applications (word, IE6 etc) stall for
about 30 seconds every 5 mins or so.  I have cleaned out
all spyware/adware and updated everything but nothing

When I open windows explorer the left pane is blank.
I am using Windows ME. I just recently had to have it
reloaded. Not an overlay but a new install.
What do I need to do to get the left pane working right.

I would like to uninstall Windows ME and install Windows
2000 Professional. I do not want to use an upgrade package
because I don't believe they are as clean as advertised.

MS Knowledge base says error could be missing

I re-installed Windows ME 3 times this month then PC works
fine --a week later I cannot open Control Panel. C Drive
works fine . Somehow Win32 stops working  ,seems like it's

Why do I have to live in the states to be able to download
an upgrade from ME to XP. Every retailer I have gone to
has not had any upgrade versions in stock.  However they
are happy to offer me the new full version at $400.  Where
