Often, on my desktop, I get the hour glass when I try to
click on the "start" button or anything else in the

Every time I start my computer it takes forever to
configure/update before loading Windows.  What can I do to
help with this.  Other computers I use don't have this

I have detected viruses in two different Restore files on
my hard drive.  One is a .cab and one is a .cpy file.  
McAfee Virus Scan cannot clean, quarantine, or delete
these files, and I have been unable to delete manually.

Is there a way to keep an individual off of my machine

I am having the same problem as a lot of people and I even tried the:
REGSVR32  THUMBVW.DLL &  regsvr32.exe /i shdocvw.dll
and they didn't work. Is there any other option???

i HAVE A ibm netvista about 3 yrs old with PIII Win ME,
every time I log on to the internet it freezes up and I
have to turn it off manualy, I reinstalled ME thinking
that might help, (nope) I uninstalled Internet explorer 6
