I've just had it with My Documents.  Every time I open Windows Explorer, it
defaults to My Documents.  The software that came bundled with my scanner
wants to put everything in My Pictures. Word looks for files in My
Documents.  Windows Media Player wants to look in My Videos for ...

I have followed the advised upgrades for windows via the
internet prompt and it has resulted in having a large
screen and large icons to the point that I cannot use my
laptop.

I had to recover my PC and my Windows Explorer didn't do
this before.  When I click on the Favorites button, there
are arrows pointing down to open the rest of my favorites,
I used to be able to see everything at one time, that's
