A dialup networking application is trying to broadcast to [224.0.0.2.]. What does that mean and is it safe to allow? It may have to do with netzero. Any ideas?

When I open up a folder like My Docs, the bottom of the folder says ther are 58 items in the folder but they are not visable. When I open in safe mode I can see them. What gives?

I launch Windows Explorer with a shortcut containing the command line: C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n, /e, c:\ What do "n" and "e" mean? What other arguments are available?

I have a Dell dimension 4100 that I had to replace the harddrive on. I was able to copy most of my files over but now I get an error when I try to boot up SYMEvent (01) + 0000BDOB ERROR:0E:0028:C00799F7

As well as having some desktop folders tell me I don't have permission to access, now, when I open Windows Explorer, highlight a folder, go to File to create a sub-folder, I do not get the option. Something screwy is going on here folks and I'm stumped. If there's any help

At start-up the username and password for the computer no longer work. I tried to do a system restore (to a previous period) but the password and login name still do not work to start windows. Trying to start in safe mode

We have a Compaq computer with Windows ME. For months now anywhere there's a capitol 'W' part of the upper left hand corner of the w has been missing, the font in use being Times New Roman. We haven't had this problem in Word

I have windows ME, using microsoft office. I want to upgrade to office 2003 but the box says requirement is windows 2000. I assume that there should be no compatibility issue but I want to make sure.

MOST WEB PAGES WILL DISPLAY TOTAL PAGE ON THE SCREEN. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SITES THAT DO NOT, CONSEQUENTLY I MUST SCROLL RIGHT AND LEFT TO READ THE CONTENT. IS THERE A WAY TO CONFIGURE COMPUTER TO SEE TOTAL PAGE?
