I have seen my question posted before but have not seen any
satisfactory answers so far.
I have Windows ME on a GenuineIntel Pentium III processor.
I would like to password protect my PC but ME has this ingenious idea

I have had this problem before For some reason system restore writes large
files to the drive I suspect Norton turns on restore even though I have set
it to off. when I run a full scan.  Then my free space on the drive drops
from say 900 megs to around 100.

I recently bought a 19" tft monitor and am very pleased with it but am
puzzled at a problem I am having with the screen settings.
It is a digital monitor and can take a setting of screen area 1920 x 1080
but if I set it at this then the desktop becomes a bit like a panorama scene

After making sure all evidence of "Adaptec" is removed, following your instructions, I still get the very same error message and nothing changed from the way it was before.
My only hope is replacement, but will it work?
