I am having trouble with removing programs that show in my C:/documents and
giving me a size of folder, but does not show up in add/remove hardware.  I
think I may have deleted them in the disk cleanup.  If I did, why do they
show a size and why don they not appear in add/remove? ...

I have a Dell Dimension 8100 with a Pentium 4, but only 128MB of RAM.  It
came with ME installed, which I later upgraded to XP.  I want to give the
unit to my sister who basically only needs email, Internet access and a word
processor.  I think it would be a much faster machine ...

I see that Zonealarm has come to the end of its road and v6.5 of Zonealarm

Deleted 19 Folders of Pictures by a slip of a finger...any way to retrieve
these folders from  CABS of whatever, or is it better to fotget the whole

I have a program that needs to have the SYSTEMROOT variable defined
inorder to install correctly.  Is there a way to do this manually in
winME?  If so, how?  I know that this variable is only generally
defined on NT based OS's.

does me have such things as system restore and disc cleanup, i am only
familiar with xp and me is quite alien to me.
