Help!  As fairly new users, we have an error that appears on our desktop
before we do much of anything.  Our internet service provider informed us it
is a Microsoft issue.  We cannot find anything (yet) how to remove this.

I have another thread going and needed to go to my windows folder. I noticed
I have 1715 .tmp files with 0 bytes. they mostly start with ff and are about
20 characters long. I don't have norton so it's not the flu. Of what use are

I have most of the spyware programs, ad-aware, cw shredder, spybot and
spyware blaster. Recently when I went to accessories, system tools, I was
missing defrag.
I went on a search and located it and dragged to my start menu. After

ME is on my laptop.  After a re-boot it takes a long time to loose the hour
glass, then it freezes up.  When I do an ctrl alt del it tells me explorer is
not responding.  I stop the process but it just does it again.  Help with

Every time I try to re-install XP on my laptop, it stops at -(copying file

Cranked-up the old machine this morning and low and behold all the drivers
to the video (ATI) and sound (VIA) has some how disappeared..
Did a restore to an older date and the machine said there was nothing
different..

Sorry about this...but had to test something :)
