I am working on an ME machine which was brought to me as "never booting all
the way up".  I looked into it, and through selected booting, found that if I
say NO to the Enable SMARTDRV disk cache question - the system boots and runs

i am relatively new to ME, how do i print pictures from 'my pictures, there
is not a print icon at the top of the folder. is there a print wizard as in
xp?

After booting up the password wndow comes up - how do I get rid of this?
The system crashes on shutdown - gets stuck on the desktop screen minus the

My update took place automatically upon opening the program, which probably

When you boot up me, this computers welcome screen and shut down screen have
been replace with a photo.
What happens, is that the system will hang, showing this photo  for about 5
minutes when booting up, and shutting down.
