When I go into a site with IE 5 and I click on the back button it just

Twice now, when I've booted up, the icons dont load to the desktop.  I
shutdown, and when I reboot scandisk tries to run, but cannot complete
(waited 15 mins). I then rebooted to safe mode and ran scandisk. It found
errors and fixed them, both times.  I've also run a scanreg /fix ...

When I recently tried to use the recovery cd's to re-install Windows ME on a
HP Pavillion machine.
Ir rand disc 1 and 2 okay, told me to remove the second disc and click Ok to
begin using Winddows ME, but when I click Ok this come come up:

Running WinME, fully updated, with AVG Free, ZoneAlarm Free (updated to last
version compatible with WinME), scanned with AdAware, Spybot and Stinger.
All clear. Rolled back a few days with System Restore.

HI all, Im new to the groups so Im sorry if I post this the wrong way.
My question is this..
Ive noticed that when I go into the control panel , I see an icon that says
"Telephony".

Hi-I want to get my kid an Ipod but, Is it possible to use a Ipod on this
older ME pc? Anyone have problems? I believe that I need to have itunes
installed on the pc in order to work & that perhaps it has a tiny cd
installtion disk. Other than that, I dont know much about this Ipod ...

I have been searching the net for a solution to a little problem with Win
ME, with no luck.
The problem is when I minimize windows, they does not appear on the taskbar.
I can use Alt+TAB and switch between them, but they where supposed to show

Hopefully this will remove the false positives from yesterday's update?

On my add/remove hardware menu are the names of several applications that I
have already uninstalled.  For some reason the names are still there.  When I
select them from the menu, a message comes up and says that they have already
